"Ah, so you wish to explore the scenic world of Dragonspyre. It's a beautiful place, don't you think?" — Librarian Milos Bookwyrm
Dragonspyre is a volcanic world once renowned for its formidable magic academy and militaristic society. Its inhabitants, deeply versed in Fire magic, lived in a realm of towering spires and ancient knowledge. The world met its downfall when a summoning ritual unleashed the Dragon Titan, leading to widespread devastation and the transformation of Dragonspyre into a haunted ruin. Now, the remnants of its past linger amidst lava flows and spectral echoes, serving as a somber reminder of a civilization undone by its own ambitions.
Arrival in Dragonspyre - The Basilica

He directs you to begin your journey in the Atheneum.

He suggests checking Holger's Tower in the Plaza of Conquests for a Portal Stone.
The Tower Archives - Unlocking the Tower
You encounter Zarathax, a servant of the Dragon Titan, who claims Malistaire is his enemy and offers assistance.
To access the main tower, you activate crystals atop four surrounding towers.
Inside the main tower, Zarathax betrays you, leading to his defeat.
You meet Aurek Blazeburner, who directs you to the Stone Keeper for a Portal Stone.
Plaza of Conquests - Earning Trust
You seek Laszlo Starblade, the Stone Keeper, who is hesitant to assist.
Laszlo requires letters of recommendation from Zanna Fireflower and Halina Warhawk.
After completing tasks for both, including defeating Sysiphan and retrieving a history book, you earn their endorsements.
Laszlo then challenges you to prove your worth through a series of trials, including defeating Rydall the Indomitable, an Earth Elemental, Sandor Spearcaller, and the Sea Lord.
Upon completion, Laszlo reveals he hid the final Portal Stone in the Great Chasm and advises consulting Milos Bookwyrm for guidance.
The Grand Chasm - Time Travel
Milos directs you to Belia Windgazer, the Chief Vault Clerk, who explains that the lower vault is sealed.
You assist Edrik Scatterglow in charging a crystal that allows time travel to the past.

After securing the vaults and defeating General Firetusk, you obtain the key to Vault 1933.
Returning to the present, you defeat the ghost of Vasek Ashweaver and retrieve the Portal Stone.
Laszlo helps you attune to the Portal Stone, granting access to the Necropolis.
The Necropolis - Sylvia's Tomb
Cyrus Drake reveals that Malistaire brought his wife's body to Dragonspyre and entombed her in the Necropolis.
You venture into Sylvia's tomb, defeat waves of monsters, and ultimately confront and defeat her ghost.

The Crystal Guide advises you to visit Dragon Master Castamir Silverdrake in the Drake Hatchery.
Drake Hatchery - Learning About Drakes
Silverdrake educates you about Drakes and directs you to Tomar Skyblade's tower to learn about dragon riders.
After speaking with Skyblade, you consult Kimerith Windhammer, Tomar's Drake, whose spirit resides in a crystal.

He instructs you to retrieve the Medallion of Fire from Drusilla Morningbane, a buried Pyromancer.
After obtaining the medallion, you consult Ashley, the fire tree, who suggests using a Drake to reach Malistaire atop the Great Volcano.
Ashley informs you that the Dragon Rider's Staff, necessary for this task, was broken into pieces and scattered across the Spiral.
You gather all four pieces and learn that the staff requires a flawless raw crystal for its head, directing you to the Crystal Grove.

Zarek requests your assistance in collecting crystal samples from nearby mining sites to locate a flawless specimen.
After gathering the samples, Zarek identifies a flawless raw crystal among them.
To cut the crystal into a suitable headpiece for the staff, you seek out Milaka Jewelbender.
Milaka is trapped within a giant crystal; you free her, gather necessary materials and tools, and defeat the Draconian Chronius to recover her Jewelcrafter Table.
With the table retrieved, Milaka crafts the crystal headpiece.
You return to Ashley, who assists you in assembling the Dragon Rider's Staff using the fire forge inside the school.
Ashley then directs you to consult with the Dragon Master at the Hatchery for further guidance.

The Matriarch informs you that the egg must be warmed in the purest fire, located in a cave near Golem Tower in Wizard City.
After warming the egg, you return to the Matriarch, who then asks you to retrieve the sacred Crystal Hammer necessary for hatching.
Upon obtaining the Crystal Hammer, you are instructed to hatch the egg on the center platform, currently occupied by Viktor Snowcrusher.
