• You uncover a spy within the ranks who reports to Do-Daga; after defeating Do-Daga, Gama directs you to Sanisai Fukido at Tatakai Outpost.

• Sanisai Fukido asks for assistance in reclaiming the outpost by taking out scout towers and cutting enemy supply lines.​

• After defeating the Ronin Keyholder and the spy Maito, you return to Gama, who directs you to Hoi Mang for further guidance.

Crimson Fields - Recovering the Emperor's Sword

• Hoi Mang sends you to General Rikugun Mikawa to rebuild barricades and locate missing scouts.​

• With the help of Bricktop and the elementals, you defeat Warlord Katsumori and the War Oni, retrieving the Emperor's sword.​

• Tan Keng instructs you to ensure the purity of water in Shoshun Village.

• Sun Hing directs you to Din Ho in the Cave of Solitude to address the water's impurity.​

• You collect the scepter's pieces, gather flowers to summon forest spirits, and reforge the scepter.​

• Tu Luk Kwo in Kishibi Village tasks you with restoring the Shrines of Body, Mind, and Spirit.

• Khin-Pao, guardian of the Body Shrine, is ill due to diseased mushrooms; after clearing them, he helps purify the shrine.​

• Woo Ping, guardian of the Mind Shrine, is kidnapped; you rescue him and purify the shrine.​

• Chang Su, guardian of the Spirit Shrine, is missing; you recruit Sesshu Nedaki, who, after passing tests, purifies the shrine.​

• Sun Hing sends you to Din Ho at Shirataki Temple to confront the Plague Oni.

• You defeat Monoonaga to obtain the Dagger of Shadows, which opens a portal to the Spirit World.​

• Inside, you defeat Kagemoosha and the Death Oni, restoring the Tree of Life and obtaining its fruit.

Emperor's Throne Room - Healing the Emperor

• You present the fruit to the Emperor, but the Jade Oni emerges.​
